Our baby is due at the end of June
Question
Our baby is due at the end of June. I have been informed that the afterbirth must be buried. However we live in a paved apartment with no garden etc. Is there any other way that we can dispose of the afterbirth?

In the Name of Allāh, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāh wa-barakātuh.
It is necessary to dispose of human organs with respect and dignity including the afterbirth. If it is difficult for you to dispose of it in your apartment building, you may bury it at a relative’s house or at your local graveyard.
