Question:

If a baby (only on milk) vomit on a person’s clothing, it was not washed and it dried up. The person read salah in that same clothing he will have to repeat salah or not?

Answer:

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum Wa-Rahmatullāhi Wa-Barakātuh.

Vomit is impure when it is mouthful, whether it is the vomit of a baby consuming solid food or only milk, or of an adult. However, if one spits out the food / milk before it goes beyond the throat, it will not be considered as impure.

A person who performs Salah using a clothing which was soiled with the vomit of a child will be assessed based on the part of the garment which was soiled.

If one performs Salah with less than the size of one Dirham (2.75 cm in diameter) of vomit or any impurity on his clothes, his Salah will be valid, yet Makrooh. If one performs Salah with more than the size of one Dirham (2.75 cm in diameter) of vomit or any impurity on his clothes, his Salah will be invalid.[i]

And Allah Ta’ala Knows Best.
