What is sharee status of holding the asaa during the Friday arabic khutabah?

Answer:
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum Wa-Rahmatullāhi Wa-Barakātuh.
Holding a staff (ʿAsā) during the Friday khutbah is permissible. It is not a Sunnah Muakkadah, nor is it necessary for the validity of the khutbah.[1]
