Question
So please suggest the meaning of Ahyan, as I found in the internet Ahyan=”Gift of God”. Is this right or wrong
Answer
In the Name of Allāh, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāh wa-barakātuh.
Ahyan is the plural of Heen. Heen means time. Ahyanuddeen means ‘the times of deen’. We suggest the name be changed to Ihyaauddeen which means ‘to liven deen’.
And Allah knows best
