I want to ask a question regarding zakat
Question
I want to ask a question regarding zakat. I am separated from my husband and i have two daughters both of them are studying they are recieving student allowance from the government approx. $400 per month each. I pay rent for the house 1000 per month. And i am recieving pension from the government $740 per month. Do i have to pay zakat on whatever i am saving under this circumstances?

Zakat is not compulsory on you.
