In a marriage relationship there are always ups and downs. No matrimonial relationship is free from this. Keeping this in mind, it is important to consider the temperament of your husband and abstain from any such thing that may annoy or irritate him as this is essential for a blissful relationship.
The appropriate thing to do at this moment is to endure patience and turn your attention to Allah Ta’ala and seek His assistance through dua (supplication), zikhr, nafl salat, and sadaqah (charity) etc. Allah Ta’ala says in the Quran;
‘And seek help in patience and prayer’. (02:45)
Express your feelings to your husband and let him know how you feel. Let him know that you never intended to hurt his feelings in anyway and whatever you have done was a mistake. And you will abstain from such mishaps in future. A mutual conversation always helps in marital issues.
You should also make dua (supplication to Allah Ta’ala) for him and perchance you encounter any undesirable confrontation with him then recite Ta’awuz (A’auzu Billahi Min Al Shaytan Al Rajeem) abundantly.
You may do things together that would create love among you for example, eating together, reading Islamic books together etc. Showing him that you are delighted with his presence is very important. Similarly doing things that he approves and abstaining from things he may disapprove with, plays an important role in ones relationship. A simple example is, keep the phone near you so as to answer it on the first ring.
Allah Ta’ala says in the Quran; “And surely the mercy of Allah Ta’ala is (ever) near to the good doers”. (07:56)
And Allah knows best
