A Christian recently reverted to Islaam and mentioned to me that she has a few Christian friends who asked her what Islaam says about Isa Alayhis Salaam. She explained to them whatever she knew however they seem to want a detailed explanation. Can Mufti Sahib please suggest to us books we can read that explains the ascending of Isa Alayhis Salaam in as much detail as possible? Mufti Sahibs advice would also be much appreciated. As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum Wa-Rahmatullāhi Wa-Barakātuh.
In Islam, Isa (Alayhis Salaam) is one of the greatest messengers of Allah. He holds a profound status in Islam, as Allah mentions him 25 times in the Holy Qur’an. Learning about his biography is recommended, as this will help us understand the truth about him, such as his lineage, his miraculous birth, his miracles (e.g., creating birds from clay and breathing life into them, healing the sick and blind, reviving the dead, and speaking from the cradle all by the permission of Allah) and more.
