Are men allowed to cut their eye brows if they have over grown or just for fashion?

In the Name of Allāh, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāh wa-barakātuh.
Men are allowed to cut their eyebrows as long as they don’t resemble the effeminates (those men who behave in a way similar to women), and if ones eyebrows are overgrown, they only trim the overgrown strands of hair as it is improper to shave the eyebrows. It is not permissible for men to shape their eyebrows to resemble a fashion.
