Question:
Is it permissible to use the skin of an animal who died a natural death (without being slaughtered)???
May it be before or even after tanning

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum Wa-Rahmatullāhi Wa-Barakātuh.
The hide of an animal that dies naturally is impure and cannot be used before tanning. However, after tanning, it becomes pure and permissible to use, except for human skin and pigskin.[1]
