I want to know the exact time to cut hair of under arms and down part
Question
I want to know the exact time to cut hair of under arms and down part. Until now I heard that befor to reach their length to the length of a piece of rice, we have to cut them. Or within 40 days we have to cut them. Otherwise eating is Maqruh. But I want to be conformed which one is right or is there any thing else? And what is the Sunnah to cut them I mean method of cutting (Right to Left & Up to Down) ? From where should we start and where should we finish the cutting ? May Allah put us on the way of our Prophet (SAW) . Amin

In the Name of Allāh, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāh wa-barakātuh.
It is best to remove unwanted hair and clip nails on Friday’s. It is not permissible to leave it beyond forty days. The hair may be remove in anyway, shaving, using hair removing cream etc. However as far as the pubic region is concern, beginning from beneath the navel is enjoined.
يُسْتَحَبُّ ( حَلْقُ عَانَتِهِ وَتَنْظِيفُ بَدَنِهِ بِالِاغْتِسَالِ فِي كُلِّ أُسْبُوعٍ مَرَّةً ) وَالْأَفْضَلُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ
( قَوْلُهُ وَكُرِهَ تَرْكُهُ ) أَيْ تَحْرِيمًا لِقَوْلِ الْمُجْتَبَى وَلَا عُذْرَ فِيمَا وَرَاءَ الْأَرْبَعِينَ وَيَسْتَحِقُّ الْوَعِيدَ ا هـ وَفِي أَبِي السُّعُودِ عَنْ شَرْحِ الْمَشَارِقِ لِابْنِ مَلَكٍ رَوَى مُسْلِمٌ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ” { وُقِّتَ لَنَا فِي تَقْلِيمِ الْأَظْفَارِ وَقَصِّ الشَّارِبِ وَنَتْفِ الْإِبِطِ أَنْ لَا نَتْرُكَ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ أَرْبَعِينَ لَيْلَةً } ” وَهُوَ مِنْ الْمُقَدَّرَاتِ الَّتِي لَيْسَ لِلرَّأْيِ فِيهَا مَدْخَلٌ فَيَكُونُ كَالْمَرْفُوع
