Question
I want to know the information regarding taking loan on interest from a non islamic bank.Yest i have attended one biyaan in one of the mosque situated in ,hyderabad,INDIA. During the biyaan Moulana saheb told that we can take interest from a non islamic bank banks or any non muslim organisation as our country is non islamic ruled by non muslims it is ok to take intrest in a non islamic country. He said interest is only haraam if we take intrest from a muslim brother. I want to confirm weather it is true. As far as i know interest is haraam in any way irrespective of whome we are taking because at the time of our pyare nabi jews were there and our pyare nabi would have told us that we can take amount on intrest from jews as they are non muslim. Please advise me.
I am a computer professional and iam paying around Rs 10000/- as income tax to the govt every month. If i took home loan this tax can be reduced to a great extent because the tax which i am paying every month to the govt, the same i can pay it as an emi to the bank and can avoid paying incometax. There should be a way where we can take loan according to shriayat. The tax which we are paying here to the government is a percentage of our amount earned in other words intrest instead of paying to government i can take home loan from bank and pay the smae amt to the bank.in this way i will have property as well as i will paying the bank emi from the income tax amt.

Muhtaram / Muhtaramah
In the Name of Allāh, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāh wa-barakātuh.
1. Interest is completely haram irrespective of who you are dealing with, Muslim or non-Muslim and irrespective which country you are in, Muslim or non- Muslim.
2. It is not permissible to take a home loan specifically to decrease the income tax amount. You should consult with a reliable Mufti in Darul Iftah in Hyderabad and seek a legal/Shar`i alternative to your problem.
