Assalamualaykum
Aqiqa was done on the 7day but we couldn’t shave the baby’s hair as he is still in the hospital.
Is the ruling same as aqiqa 14-21-28…7days pattern to shave his hair or can it be done any day?

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum Wa-Rahmatullāhi Wa-Barakātuh.
In principle, shaving the baby’s hair on the seventh day together with slaughtering the Aqiqah animal is Mustahab. If it could not be done on the seventh day, it may be shaved later; it is still desirable to follow the 14th, 21st, or 28th-day pattern, although this is not necessary.[1]
