I have 6 years of qaza namaz to be made up,alhumdillah i have started,i am reading short suras and after athiyat i am performing salam quickly because i have a lot to pray,is this in order? or is it better if i pray one qaza with each farz namaz, the only concerned I had if i do this it will take 6 years,

Answer

Muhtaram / Muhtaramah

In the Name of Allāh, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāh wa-barakātuh.

The way you are performing you salah currently, your salah is valid. Salah is an Ibadat which is a communication with Allah subhanahu wata’ala. One should enjoy this communication. Our experience has shown that those who try to perform years of Salah at once do not go more than a few weeks because they try to take too much on. We advise that you pray a Qadha with every Salah with the sincere intention of completing all your missed salahs over the years. If you wish you could double it and read it in three years. If your life does not permit you to complete these salahs in these three or six years time, and then based on your sincere intention, it is hoped that Allah will forgive your remaining Qadhaas.

May Allah make it easy for you and accept your Salaahs. Ameen

And Allah knows best

Wassalam
