Displaying Animal Skulls and Horns

Question:

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

Could you kindly advise if it is permissible in Islam to display or keep animal skulls and horns in a Muslim household?”

Answer:

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-Salāmu ʿAlaykum Wa-Raḥmatullāhi Wa-Barakātuh

It is permissible to display animal skulls and horns in homes, as this does not fall under the ruling of taṣwīr (image-making). However, this permissibility does not apply to swine, as they are inherently najis (impure).[i]

And Allah Taʿāla Knows Best.
