1. Can you please advise me if the f/f is halaal or haraam:
– Medical aid
– Retirement Annuity fund
– Pension fund
– Provident fund,
If not could you please advise me if there is halaal medical aids.RAFs,pensions and provident funds.
2. I heard that there is halaal insurance called tafakul-is it really halaal.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāh wa-barakātuh.
- All conventional provident pension and RAF contain elements of gambling and interest. Therefore they are not permissible. No funds as yet have been approved by the Darul Iftaa.
- After its thorough research Darul Iftaa has concluded that takaful is not Shariah Compliant.
