i was just wondering i no that as a male it is haram to act or dress like a girl

Question

i was just wondering i no that as a male it is haram to act or dress like a girl even wear ear rings but if a male has long hair and he ponytails it is that haram?

In the Name of Allāh, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāh wa-barakātuh.

If a male makes plaits of his long hair and that does not resemble a fashion or custom, it is permissible to do so.
