Question
Can you please explain the ruling for inheritance if there are only daughters?
Answer
Muhtaram / Muhtaramah
In the Name of Allāh, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāh wa-barakātuh.
1. According to the principal of inheritance, if the deceased leaves behind two or more daughters they will inherit two thirds of the estate and the balance will be divided amongst other heirs.
[As Siraaji Fil Meeraath Pg. 7. Qadimi kutub khaana]
2. In order for us to issue a specific answer with shares of all the heirs, kindly give us a list of the exact heirs.
And Allah knows best
