Question
I have been blessed by Allah SWT with a boy baby. I named his as Syed Muhammad. and most of my relatives who are muslim ofcourse say i need to add another name to this like for eg Syed Muhammad Luqman or something with Syed Muhammad…
Because if someone abuses my child in anger.. It will be a disrespect to Muhammad SAWS is this true or can we just keep a name as Syed Muhammad ?

In the Name of Allāh, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāh wa-barakātuh.
It is not necessary to add any name to Syed Mohammed. Dirsrespecting your child will not constitute disrespecting Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلم.
